| ![]() | Customer Reviews:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() What a Shame - Could've been great (06 September 2010)This game is fast paced, great graphics, some great cars to choose from etc..... BUT a modern 2010 racing game that DOESN'T support using steering wheels? I have a PS3 Logitech Driving Force GT wheel that is great with GT Prologue, Need for Speed, Dirt 2, Grid, Ferrari challenge and was REALLY looking forward to this but majorly let down.... Come on guys??? what are you doing? it's a racing game, support steering wheels..... If you have no intention of using a steering wheel then it's still a great game (hence 2 stars not 1) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() great fun, good music but low gen graphics (06 September 2010)played the demo, loved the fun factor with the catchy music. graphically it is disappointing. may remind you of mario cart but this fast paced game is much more fun. fast paced racing whilst not only attacking enemies infront but looking behind for enemies and incoming bombs. the satisfaction of dodging an incoming bomb via the rear view mirror is satisfying. buy it if you like fun online play. don't buy it if you want a driving sim. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Brilliant game - so addictive!! (31 August 2010)Played the demo and snapped it up immediately. Slick presentation, great tracks and cars. You simply will keep saying "just one more race..." Superb. If you love driving games - own this. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() FUN ! FUN ! FUN (19 August 2010)Great game, no really for driving simulator fan , but so fun either on Solo mode and Multiplayer mode. You can play in split screen mode off line and online and once again, so much fun.I you don't have it, get it right now! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fantastic fun. Get your mates round! (12 August 2010)What I love about this game is it's "pick up and play" feel. It has that canny nack of being easy to jump in, but difficult to master. I brought this game because a couple of friends of mine were coming round and I wanted something we could all play at once. Most of the driving games I looked at were either 1 or 2 player. This handles up to four players simultaneously, and it handles it very well indeed. I was quite concerned that the lack of real estate in 3-4 player multiplayer would mean the game would be unworkable. I was wrong! I hardly noticed the difference. I think it pans out slightly further in multiplayer, so you effectively get the same amount of background, albeit a little smaller. I would reccomend a 1080p screen of at least 37" if you are considering 3-4 players though. My only slight grumble is that you can't have multiplayer on one PS3 while playing online. We all loved the realism and general camaraderie of online play, but it meant we had to take it in turns :-( I also notice there's LAN game options, should you have a house with a multi-screen, multi PS3 setup (and let's face it, who hasn't these days?). I think the other reviews sum up the game in every imaginable detail. I did try the single player campaign and thought that possibly it could get a little dull after a while, but I'm not about to pass judgement, as I can't see what else they could really have done. Plenty of challenges, it just seemed a bit repetitive. Anyways, if you like driving games, and you have a few mates, then get this game. Actually, get this game if you haven't got any mates because you can have "pretend friends" online anyway! Happy barging ;-) |
