A good buy & a very good game. I would recommend it to others who like the FIFA line. A good game that gives you hours of fun. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Priceless (11 May 2010)Having had previous versions, this version just gets better. Fantastic price and no nonsense delivery from Amazon, I have noticed some retailers now selling this at its old higher price with the forthcoming World Cup event about to kick off. Absolute bargain. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() compliant (28 April 2010)This is the third time that I bought video games from Amazon and this is the third time I have experienced faulty games. I have lost confidence now to buy any games via amazon although other products I bought from amazon have been no problem. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Fantastic gameplay - but may take some practice! (03 April 2010)I was a huge fan of Fifa 04 and 06, but became slightly wary of the franchise after purchasing 09 to find it loaded with bugs and glitches, two copies! So I thought I was taking a bit of a risk trusting EA again, but I'm glad I did, because this one's a corker! The gameplay is much smoother and, with practice, precise passing and shooting can finally be achieved! Someone has already mentioned in a review that it's "virtually impossible" to score from a free-kick. This is not the case. With a little time spent in the practice arena, you can hone your free-kick, corner-taking and general shooting skills to near-perfection. It does take a little patience, but it's worth it! As a big non-league football fan, my favourite feature of this game has to be the "create your own team" feature, where you can create your entire squad from scratch, giving them realistic (ish!) lookalikes, names and playing positions. You can also design your team's kit and pick which kind of stadium to play at. Once you've named your team, you can drop right in to a full season or cup competition. I know a lot of people will be happy sticking with Man U or Chelsea, but I personally got satisfaction building up my own local team onto PS2 and beating the Premiership with them. Never gonna happen in real life, so may as well take advantage here! If, like me, you haven't made the leap to PS3 or X-box, this must be the best footie game option for you out there on PS2. Thanks EA! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() GREAT STUFF FROM THE 'OUTDATED' PS2!!! (27 February 2010)Many will consider the PS2 to be an outdated console, and will overlook it, missing the great value for money and game quality. Although the games may be lacking in graphical quality, the solid backbone needed for a great game still remains. This game is well worth the money, and delivers everything I expected it to, even more. Buy this today if you love a decent footie game for the PS2, great for hardcore career modes or messing about with your mates. |
