| | Customer Reviews: Just as good as you expect (27 July 2010)this is really great...i mean REALLY great!!! i was hooked as soon as i started it and did not move for about 7 hours. The game brings the legendary creatures to the HD screen. All the way through it is clear that this is a epic game and a even better story...... i was happy to later find out that the story is based upon true events also, which just intensified the game even more for me!!!!! The best PS3 game EVER! Xbox 360 owners envi us! (19 July 2010)This game is epic. So epic that i bought God of war 1 and 2 to get the story straight. The graphics are great and the violence and fighting techniques in the game are great. And it is one of the games i have that is worth the money because this game is LONG! You get the feeling that the makers of the game put thought in this game instead of rushing it on to the market to get money. You grasp the story well and the cut scenes during the game make it look like a film. The best thing about the game is that it starts with a scene from the end that you have to play to get to. which is exciting. A must buy if your a PS3 fanatic. well worth a buy (19 July 2010)right guys firstly if you liked heavenly sword you will love this. controls are very easy to get used to.........graphics is up there with encharted if not better.........violence is hardcore from start to finish its epic i never played GOd of war 1 or 2 and it doesnt matter had a blast. Pure action with some thought (18 July 2010)If you like to just charge in and destroy all your enemies at once, this is the game for you! Graphics are amazing and the sheer scale of the thing is brilliant. Some of the scenes are just breathtaking. Puzzles are welcomed, some hard, some make you think and others are quite straightforward. There are some bits of the game which are insanely frustrating, but there are not many, chasing Helios is one of them, but at least you get your 'reward' for doing so... Play this in chunks and you will absolutely love it. Warning though, the game is very bloodthirsty so you might fall in love with it even more! Tough (14 July 2010)Great game, great graphics and one of those must own titles if you have a PS3. I played the game through on hard difficulty straight away and it is amazingly difficult. I think I am up to about 250 deaths (it tells you the statistics, i havent counted!) and you will have incredibly frustrating moments when you are doing the same thing over and over and over... This is made harder by the fact the restart points are often right at the start of the large/boss battle so you have to go through eveything again before you get to the bit where you die - then you die again and repeat! (hence the presonal rating of 4 stars for fun instead of 5). When you die you will continually be offered to play through on easy level which gets annoying and is irreversible should you choose to do so. It is totally worth persevering though (or maybe trying a different difficulty at first!) and you finish the game satisfied that you have played one of the best games around. The weapons and items are fun and some of the bad guys and bosses have to be seen to be believed, particularly in the cut scenes. Looking forward to the next installment. |
