| | Customer Reviews: It doesn't get much better than this... (21 August 2010)I was looking at my profile page and I noticed I still hadn't done a Halo 3 review. So.... Here is my review (and mini strategy guide) to one of the best 360 games ever made. With Halo Reach fast aproaching, I know most of you are looking to buy a cheap copy of Halo 3 to warm you up. I strongly advise you do. Since being released, Halo 3 has become a legendary gaming event. And there is a perfectly good reason for that. And that is... HALO IS AWESOME!!! The graphics are still good even 5 years after it was released, the enemy AI is realistic and the guns are big and oh so powerfull. Only a tenner. Absolute bargain. If this review has convinced you to buy this game then check out my mini strategy guide below. So then. Strategy guide. Before playing Halo 3 there are a few things you should know. 1: New comers should go on normal difficulty. Old fans should try heroic or legendary. 2: If you kill too many good guys then your soldiers WILL kill you. 3: If you kill too many good guys online then you may get booted (kicked out the game) 4: A charged up plasma pistol destroys sheilds, health and armour. 5: To assassinate an enemy, get behind them and press B. 6: Don't underestimate the enemy... EVER. 7: But you can underestimate the flood zombies. 8: Shoot first... sightsee later. And finally... The best weapons to have at your side are... The assault rifle will get you through most enemies. The battle rifle is elegant and powerfull. The needler is insaney powerfull. The rocket launcher takes out most vheicles. The shotgun is deadly at close range. And the energy sword (my personal fav) is awesome at close range (one hit kills). So, just buy this game and have fun... because it really is very fun. Halo 3 ends the trilogy and is well worth the money. Firstly the Classic edition is no different from the Original the only change is the picture size on the front. The Campaign The campaign is just nine levels long but there are several large levels in there that will take some time to play. Furthermore there are 4 difficulty settings so depending upon your skill level the time it takes you to play through will differ. The campaign is playable solo, with a friend on the same console or up to 4 players over xbox live. Playing with a friend is highly recomended. Multiplayer The Halo multiplayer is huge and played by millions. There are a variety of maps and game types to play as well as the option to personalise your character. However not all of the maps are included in the game, the rest are downloadable from xbox live for a price. If you are keen on multiplayer then I suggest buying HALO ODST, as well as a campaign that is worth a look you will also get a second disc with all of the multiplayer maps, I am fairly sure this option is cheaper than getting the maps off xbox live. Note to parents Although the game comes with a 15 certificate the violence included is of a sci fi nature and I can think of only one instance that may be unsuitable for younger players. However this instance is not noticable unless you go looking for it. Conclusion Halo 3 is by far one of the best games I have played and is certainly worth the money. Going round in circles.
