| | Customer Reviews: Fun to start with (20 July 2010)This game is fun to start with, but gets very repetitive after a few hours. Graphics: They are not very good, especially for an xbox 360 game. For a sequel I expected the graphics to improve, but look below par. Gameplay: Fun shooting masses of zombies. Playing as a team of 4 is very fun compared to playing on your own. After playing through all the levels, you can only try higher difficulties. Sound: Very good, especially the creepy sound of the Witches. Graphics: 6/10 Gameplay: 8/10 to start with. Sound: 8/10 Replay value: 6/10 OVERALL:7/10 Left 4 dead 2 review xbox 360 (16 July 2010)Good but not worth it if you dont have xbox live, as single player lasts about 10 hours max. Has replay value though. Great game (13 July 2010)I brought this game about half a year ago and i bought it just on word of mouth since i never really played this sort of game genre of zombie apocalypse style shooter. Now i am so glad i purchased this and i can't believe i missed out on left 4 dead 1 so i bought that too. I play this game nearly all the time and i bought this after i purchased the overhyped modern warfare 2 which wasn't as good as this game. Doing the single player campaign was a must for me, i didnt want to do it online because i wanted to get into this game for myself and its great to see a variety of common infected to surround you and then get ambushed by the special infected at numerous points in the level which happen randomly and at different points everytime you play. The characters are a real bunch of... well lets say characters i guess :) Ellis, nick, rochelle and coach all have intresting and funny dialogue/speech as you play through the game, added a nice touch to the creepy and dark surroundings. If you have access to online gameplay then you should try it, there are a number of different online multiplayer modes including versus, realism versus, surrival, scavenge and a weekly special game mode that value bring out. For example, take online versus where you play alongside 3 other players to survive but theres another team and they play as the special infected. Thats right, you can play as the infected and each have their own cool moves you can use against the survivors. All are playable apart from the witch but thats ok considering the witch doesn't need to attack unless disturbed. It is a fun experience playing online on this game. Value realised an expansion chapter to this game, much like crash course in the first one. This one is called the passing and it involves meeting the original survivors from left 4 dead 1 so its worth purchasing i feel. Questionable purchase (09 July 2010)Having been a big fan of the first L4D I bought this. There has been alot of changes, upgrades and extras since the first game. Some interesting levels and new characters. But sadly after a few weeks of playing it I haven't picked it up since. The changes since the first game aren't enough to keep you playing and would only recommend it if either you haven't played the first game or all your friends have this. Great Fun! (06 July 2010)Hi I bought this game because it looked really fun and I like playing co-op games with my mates. The point is that you can't go wrong with valve they make brilliant games and this is no exception. To be honest I can't fault the game its awesome and there's lots of content top have fun with. |
