Original product and good price (02 July 2010)You do need a second one of these if you want to have more than one player (IMHO the game should come with a second one). You will probably need a a nunchuck and possibly a motion plus device as well (due to various offers it was cheaper to buy seperatley) The product was the original product, arrived promptly from Amazon and about £ 10 cheaper than in the shops. Wasn't quite what I was expecting (02 July 2010)The extra controller I ordered didn't come with the in-built rechargeable lithium battery, and instead requires 2 x AA batteries. It is an official Nintendo product, but second hand as it had come from an individual address in west London, without original packaging and with the instructions completely in chinese. None of this information was in the description when I purchased, I would have changed my mind had it been. Not happy. wiiiiiiii (19 June 2010)Being a keen gamer theirs always a heap of controllers lying around , but the one thats the most recognisable is the wii mote. ===Size=== One of the most important things for a controller is that it fits snug into your hands , so you can play for a good amount of time and not feel pain or discomfort. The controller is 15cm long , this allows it too be small enough to hold in your hand , but big enough to feel in control of. The top end of the wii mote curves in leaving an ergonomic design for your trigger finger to fit snuggly onto the B button. It also comes with a wrist strap to stop any accidents , such as getting a bit over keen on the golf and striking it through your telly. The strap is big and has a small stopper that you pull up so the straps secure. ===Feel=== You want the controller to be easy to hold and no resistance when making a quick movement. The wii mote has a very smooth surface , so you can easily press the buttons, however due to the main controlling being movement , this doesn't affect the wii mote as much. Although the controller has a slippery surface so if your hands get sweaty you soon start to feel it moving around. ===Responce=== The wii mote is relatively responsive , the wii mote only notes movement in certain directions although this has been reworked with the addition of wiimotion plus, although this is an addon and personally think its a rip off that you must pay extra to make the controller do what its supposed to. You wouldnt buy a playstation controller without the joysticks. The buttons don't have a lot of resistance so its responce in that sense is very good, although the B button is quite heavy coming back up after being pressed. ===Build=== Because the wii mote does get chucked around and used vigourousley ,its a good job its rugged. The wiimote is built to take small knocks when being used , which is to be expected. ===Buttons=== A run down of the controller. On the top of the wiimote is the sensor , you want this pointed towards the reciever on top of your tv. Moving to the face of the remote you have a small power button which will start up the wii but not the controller. Below this is a D pad to move around menus easier. Underneath this is the A button usually used for selecting options or objects. In the middle of the mote is a minus and plus button used to pause the game, to be honest these are barely used. Inbetween these is the home button, this can be pressed to pause the game and go back to the main screen of the wii. Below this is the wiimotes speaker. At the bottom of the face is a 1 and 2 button , these are used in a multitude of ways based on the game. And finally the controller number at the bottom, out of the 4 squares , whichever ones blue is your number. On the bottom of the remote is the adapter to the knunchuck and chargers. The back of the mote has a B button , generally used for shooting and turning on the controller. ===Speaker=== Although the speaker is small it's actually surprisingle clear, when using it with wii fit you can easily hear the trainers voice through the remote , even when it's in your pocket. ===Price/Availability=== 1 comes with the wii Also available in black Varying skins and covers are available Needs 2 AA batteries ===Overall=== An ok controller but the movement aspect needed work. Did not work, the blue lights dont come on controller rubbish buttons loose and dont work, tried around 50 differnt battery nothing,just dose not work and conntacted seller and no replay dont buy this" |
