A great one for anybody who's just stating to pokemon and even for those who played the originals. The pokewalker is easy to use and effective and the game itself is something you can always go back to as it has everything, including mini-game type activities. However in terms of completing the pokedex - it's impossible. This is the wordst thing I found as you need a full pokedex on pokemon diamond etc traded onto heart gold in order to gain 100% completion. This angered me as it is a barrier that cannot be passed without spending money on yet another game. If you're not fussed about a full pokedex then this is the game for you! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Best yet (23 May 2010)Gold and silver were the best Pokemon games so far, These remakes re-invented the series (and they got rid of those stupid contests) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Yet More Pokèmon Marmite (05 May 2010)The problem with the Pokèmon franchise has always been that when it finds what works, it's sticks with it. As such, we're 15 years into the series and this game plays almost identically to it's older brother games, Gold and Silver, that it was based on, which is essentially the same as Red and Blue, the games that came before them. As such, if you're a big fan of the series you won't be disappointed; everything that makes the franchise what it is remains the same, and the inclusion of elements from later entries only beefs up the return to Johto region. However, after playing the same format for the sixth time you'd be excused with getting bored early. If you were a fan of Johto the first time around, I hear you will enjoy this game very much. I, however, wasn't, and have found the same faults in the size of the first region, and the speed at which you are forced through Kanto. The game can be easily blasted through in a few days if you prefer, but chances are you won't be sucked in enough to feel the need to bother. As an aside, the Pokéwalker would be a fantastic way to extend longevity of the game, if not for the fact it feels entirely separate and cut off for some reason. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Best pokemon game so far! (03 May 2010)It's good because you can have your pokemon walk behind you and you can now go to Johto and Kanto. You can get new pokemon not available on other games. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() best game ever to have had come out (25 April 2010)i think this is the most enjoyebul game i have played since saphire and ruby |
