| ![]() | Customer Reviews:![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pro Evolution Soccer 2010 (PS2) (23 July 2010)Excellent game...haven't seen my son in weeks!! Seriously though, as with most of the FIFA & PES games - each new generation that is brought out proves to be better graphically than the last and usually a "must have" for our discerning offspring! My son certainly thinks its well worth the money! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Restricted Editing? Why? (08 April 2010)This is the first PES game that I have played since PES 6. So far I have found the gameplay to be very good. However, Konami have ruined the game for me by removing the blank teams and failing to include enough national teams. Where is Algeria? If play out my own version of the world cup I have to make do with an incorrect group for England. Do they make up for this by including some editable blank national teams? No. In fact, they took it upon themselves to remove the blank club teams that had been a highlight of PES 6. We are left with just PES United and WE United. Not enough to have much fun with. Furthermore, they have licenced virtually all of the club teams, so I can't even sacrifice the variety of extra club teams for my own purposes. I am thoroughly disappointed. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() good game (03 February 2010)Been wanting this game for ages, but couldn afford it till found it on Amazon at such a good price. Great value as always on amazon. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Great game (15 January 2010)I bought this for my son and he has played constantly on this game and really enjoyed it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear! (20 December 2009)Firstly, to establish my credentials, I have been playing PES since the ISS Pro days and have played every incarnation since 1998. Therefore it is with a heavy heart indeed that I have to declare that the game is now up for PES on the PS2... This feels like a token release to go alongside the PS3 version, with some of the new features such as the Champions League included. However they have finally killed the one thing above all else which made the franchise the best soccer game ever - the gameplay. The 'feel' for the players which was so evident in 2009 has gone, and you can now generate ridiculously accurate shots and crosses without timing the ball as before. Having won my last three matches against the computer on the 'Top Player' setting 8-0, 7-1 and 9-1 respectively (including one goal by a journeyman winger who ran from his own penalty box to the oppositions completely unopposed) I am going back to 2009 for good (dodgy goalies and all!). Ok, you can also win most games on this too, but at least the gameplay made it tremendous fun. I'm going to trade in my copy of PES 2010, and mourn its demise. |
