| | Customer Reviews: singstar wireless mics (16 July 2010)i ordered these mics as our old ones were corded and they had broken ,these ones are so much better as the leads don`t get tangled up and when you are playing pass the mic round you don`t have to worry about the leads Great! (05 July 2010)Bought these as a replacement for our outdated wired ones. Work a treat! They are compatible with the PS2 and PS3. A must! (08 May 2010)I bought these along with the game, but I wanted the wireless microphones because I had previously played singstar and wasn't keen on the wires! So when I seen these were available, I thought great! They arrived very quickly, as always with Amazon, and all I can say is wow! the game itself NEEDS these wireless microphones, no wires, no tripping over! you can take the mic's all around the room, and still keeps connection and signal. They are easy to hold and light(in my opinion) If you want to get singstar or already have it, I say get these! you wont regret it! Great - No Cables! (26 March 2010)I bought these microphones after playing sing star at a friend's party and thought they would be a great present for my daughter's 10th birthday. If like me you have your PS3 connected to the internet via a wireless box and an HDMI link to the TV (Philips Cineos 42PFL9632D/10#, then you may well experience the same problems that I, and many others have #after searching the internet# with latency. It is so bad that it almost makes the game unplayable. Whilst these mics do come with a warning that other devices #mobile phones etc# may interfere with their performance - there is no mention of the fact that it could be the way some TV's process picture and sound that could give you a problem #some HD TV's have a 'game' setting which would stop this problem#. I turned off all wireless devices #which made no difference# and calibrated the mics in the options menu, but the mics did not perform any better. Keeping the mic volume low #i.e. less than half volume - which may not be a bad thing!!# or connecting the PS3 to an external speaker system will help. I don't have another speaker system that I can use and just feel that with all this technology available to us - it seems crazy that I would have to! Having said all this - I have decided to keep these mics and just keep the volume low because sing star is so much fun! |
