(31 July 2010)I had this game when I was younger and absolutely loved it so I thought id buy it again....however, this game crashes every 5 minutes and is basically rubbish. very dissappointed. My operating system is Vista and the box says that it is vista compatable.... Great game, shame you need an ancient computer to use it. (08 February 2010)Played this game since I was very young and enjoyed it thoroughly and would do still. Worth buying if you have an old spec computer. It doesn't work well on some XP's and I recently picked up a Sold Out version like this that claimed to work on Vista, but it stalls repeatedly and has become aggravating to play, as it can last for half and hour to a few seconds before crashing. Fantastic game (29 January 2010)My brother and I used to play this game together when we were younger and a few years ago he bought me my own copy for Christmas and I still love it now. It does have simple graphics but that doesn't affect the game's appeal at all. It's addictive and funny. I'd definitely recommend this game! Fantastic game but to old for some computer specs. (23 October 2009)I totally agree with all the reviews that rave about how great Theme Hospital is, there are plenty of them so I wont repeat it here. What I will say is this:- I played the game many many years ago, it was released in 1997 when the computers were alot less advanced. After feeling quite nostalgic I decided to purchase the game again and have so fun. However when it arrived the game would not install on my P.C. I have Windows XP. When searching for a solution online I found I was not the only one having problems. For those of you who have Windows XP or above you may run into some difficulties if you buy this, even though the box claims it is completely compatible with XP and Vista! It is really such a shame as I love this game. There are ways to get around it, and I have managed to play it, but without being able to save so far! Make sure you do some research about your spec. before you buy so that you are not as disappointed as I was. Addicting!!! (18 September 2009)If you like being in control and maintaining things then this is the game for you! I am hooked and its that bad when I close my eyes its there! I am constantly on it trying to battle my way through the levels but its never boring. |
